Trick Williams made a bold statement on his WrestleMania debut, showing that he was more than ready to take on the biggest stage in professional wrestling. In the days leading up to the event, he told Fox News Digital that he was “hungry” for success. On Sunday night at WrestleMania 42, held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, he proved just how hungry he was and demonstrated that he could compete with the best in the business.
As Williams made his entrance, the crowd erupted with energy as the song “Whoop that trick” played throughout the arena. His signature white mink coat, complete with a long tail that matched the length of the entrance ramp, added to the dramatic flair of his arrival. Once inside the ring, the veteran competitor stood tall, waiting for his opponent, Sami Zayn.
Zayn, however, didn’t seem to take Williams seriously. He believed that the newcomer wasn’t ready to meet the moment. But he quickly found out that he was wrong. Despite taking out Williams’ partner Lil Yachty, Zayn lost focus during the match. He hit an apron brainbuster and then delivered a Helluva Kick on the barrier, putting Williams in a tough spot.

The referee was about to count out Williams, but the wrestler showed incredible resilience. He rushed back into the ring just in time, and Yachty re-entered the match, using mind games to disrupt Zayn’s focus. Williams hit the Trick Shot on Zayn, but couldn’t secure the three-count. Zayn then hit Williams with a buckle bomb and was preparing for another Helluva Kick when Williams made a surprising comeback with the Trick Shot.

The momentum shifted dramatically, and Williams capitalized on the opportunity. He pinned Zayn and secured a massive victory, claiming the United States Championship in his WrestleMania debut. The win not only solidified his place in WWE but also showcased his ability to perform under pressure and deliver when it mattered most.
