A Special Birthday Celebration
Victoria Beckham, the former member of Posh Spice, recently celebrated her 52nd birthday in a heartfelt manner. The fashion icon took to Instagram to share a photo of her birthday cake, showcasing her joy and gratitude for the day.
Dressed in a shoulderless satin dress, Victoria beamed as her cake with lit candles was placed on the table. After making a wish, she blew out the candles, marking the occasion with a sense of celebration and reflection. Her caption read: ‘Dream big then dream even bigger!!! The most magical day with my family and friends. Thank you for all your love and kindness. I feel so grateful.’
Family and Friends Celebrate
Victoria received an outpouring of love from her family and friends, especially from her husband, David Beckham. He shared a series of nostalgic photos that highlighted their relationship, including one from the Spice Girls’ 1996 “Say You’ll Be There” music video, which marked the first time he fell in love with her.
David also shared a picture of Victoria as a young girl standing next to her father’s Rolls-Royce, a nod to a famous moment from his 2023 Netflix show where he humorously suggested that her father drove her to school in a luxury car. He also reshared a romantic honeymoon photo of them in the South of France.
In his post, David wrote: ‘Happy Birthday to the one & only Posh Spice we love you so much and we will make sure you have the most special day because as the best Wife, Mum, friend & of course gym partner you deserve too. Happy Birthday We Love You.’
Children Join the Celebration
Victoria’s children also joined in the birthday celebrations. Romeo was the first to take to social media, sharing a photo of himself with his mother and writing: ‘Happy Birthday mum love you so so much have the best day @victoriabeckham.’ He also shared a picture of them together watching David at a football match when he was a young boy.
Cruz, the youngest son, shared sweet photos of him with his mother from his childhood. However, notably, her eldest son, Brooklyn, did not wish her a Happy Birthday. This absence came after Victoria addressed their estrangement in an interview with the Wall Street Journal, where she emphasized that she and David have always tried to protect and love their children.
Addressing the Estrangement
While the magazine noted that Victoria does not mention Brooklyn by name, she spoke directly about their ongoing feud for the first time. She said: ‘I think that we’ve always — we love our children so much. We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be. And you know, we’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that’s all I really want to say about it.’
Brooklyn, 27, cut ties with his family in January, stating he has no plans to reconcile with his famous parents. He accused them of controlling him for most of his life.
