Victoria Beckham showcased a more playful side of her husband, David, on his 51st birthday. The Spice Girls singer, 52, celebrated the retired footballer on Saturday, May 2, by sharing a series of fun photos on Instagram. These included images of David wearing just a pair of Speedos, highlighting a lighthearted and cheeky moment in their relationship.
One of the photos captured the athlete emerging from the ocean, sporting a tiny red bathing suit and sunglasses. In another post, Victoria expressed her deep affection for David, writing: “You are our world, our everything. We love you so much!!!” Another image showed her kissing David on the cheek while he blew out his birthday candles.
The couple also appeared happy and carefree in a photo where they were seen relaxing on a boat as they explored a cave. This collection of images reflected the warmth and love between the couple, even as they celebrated David’s milestone birthday.
In one of her Instagram Stories, Victoria humorously shared a clip of David with a noticeable bald spot after he shaved his head. She captioned it with a joke: “Happy birthday @davidbeckham!!! Wanted to celebrate you today by sharing one of your finest moments.”

This birthday tribute came at a time when David and Victoria were dealing with a strained relationship with their son, Brooklyn Beckham. While the 27-year-old photographer did not publicly wish his father a happy birthday, his siblings took to Instagram to send loving messages.
Their middle son, Romeo, 23, shared a throwback photo of himself as a child with David sucking on lollipops.
The couple’s other son, Cruz, 21, posted a snapshot of David playing guitar and sitting on a boat. He wrote: “I love you xxx,” and added, “Happy birthday xxx.”
Brooklyn, however, has been in conflict with his parents since last year. He made a scathing public statement in January, claiming that his parents had tried to “control” him. He said: “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.”
