Vivo has introduced the Vivo S50t smartphone in China, marking a subtle update to its existing model. While it may appear as a new device, the S50t is essentially a revised version of the Vivo S50 launched in late 2025. The changes are minor and might go unnoticed by many users.
The most significant improvement lies in the internal components. Vivo has upgraded the storage from UFS 3.1 to UFS 4.1, offering faster read and write speeds. However, this change may not be immediately apparent during regular use. All other aspects of the device remain largely unchanged, maintaining the same overall performance and features.
This slight upgrade also influences the pricing. The 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant is priced at 3,299 yuan, with a limited-time discount bringing it down to 3,199 yuan. The 16GB RAM and 512GB storage model costs 3,599 yuan. In comparison, the original Vivo S50 is slightly more affordable, with the 12/512GB variant costing around 100 yuan less.
Key Specifications of the Vivo S50t
The design of the S50t remains largely consistent with its predecessor. It retains a slim profile, measuring as thin as 7.49mm in certain color options. The phone features a satin-finish glass back and an aluminum frame. It is available in four finishes: Confession, Serenity Blue, Inspiration Purple, and Space Black.
The display is a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It also includes HDR support and a P3 color gamut. Additional eye-comfort features such as low blue light technology and high-frequency PWM dimming are included to reduce eye strain.

Inside, the S50t is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, paired with LPDDR5X RAM. It runs on OriginOS 6, which is based on Android 16. The device comes with a large 6,500mAh battery, and it supports 90W wired charging. However, wireless charging is not supported.
In terms of photography, the rear camera setup consists of a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens using Sony’s IMX882 sensor. The front-facing camera is also 50MP. Both the front and rear cameras have dedicated flash units for better low-light performance.
Additional Features
The S50t includes several other notable features. It has an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for secure and quick unlocking. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.4. It also comes with a range of standard sensors, an IR blaster, and an X-axis linear motor for enhanced haptic feedback.
The device is designed to offer a balanced mix of performance, design, and functionality. While the changes may seem minimal, they contribute to an improved user experience. Whether you’re looking for a reliable smartphone with strong performance or a device with a sleek design, the S50t could be a compelling choice.
