Final Vows and the Aftermath
With the drama-filled Final Vows now all said and done – leaving just two of four couples intact – the 2026 Married At First Sight season is coming to an end. All that remains, alongside the remnants of a few shattered hearts and egos, are the MAFS Reunion episodes. Split across two nights and reliably the most anticipated episodes of the season, the reunion offers the perfect stage for unresolved tensions to surface and long-simmering grievances to spill over. It’s a reality TV lover’s dream.

Are MAFS 2026’s Alissa And David Still Together?

The Reunion Unfolds
Picking up where the finale left off, last night’s reunion wasted no time returning to the chaos. Alissa and David were reunited in the wake of their Final Vows fallout, while a so-called ‘photo scandal’ involving Steph and Danny quickly overshadowed nearly everything else.
A scorned Bec came in hot, yelling at Steph, “Who do you think you are?” before telling cameras, “The man that I am still in love with is messaging another bride.” Meanwhile, Tyson’s primary role seemed to be fuelling everyone else’s drama and questioning whether Steph had missed him. Spoiler: she definitely didn’t.
Unlike other dinner parties, this one featured just one actual couple, with everyone else arriving as exes.
Filip and Stella, who got engaged during their sweet Final Vows, remain the last pair standing. Rachel and Steven, who had committed to each other at Final Vows, revealed they’ve since split, with Steven unable to prioritise the relationship. Despite a half-hearted attempt at reconciliation, including slipping his wedding ring back on, it feels safe to say their relationship is dead and buried.
When Are The MAFS 2026 Reunion Episodes?
The Married At First Sight Reunion Commitment Ceremony airs tonight, Monday, April 13, at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now, following last night’s Reunion Dinner Party.
What To Expect From The MAFS Reunion
Set across two nights, the reunion episodes serve as a highly stylised reckoning. All 24 participants from this year’s season are brought back into the same room for the first time since filming wrapped, meaning scores are settled, friendships are tested, and the occasional bombshell romance is revealed. (We’re still not over Evelyn and Duncan. We never will be.)
At last night’s dinner party, the two couples who made it through Final Vows – Rachel and Steven, and Stella and Filip – updated the group on where their relationships stand. Filip and Stella shared news of their engagement to the group, which was nothing short of adorable. Meanwhile, Rachel and Steven revealed what went wrong. At tonight’s commitment ceremony, the experts will likely push for clarity around Steven’s true intentions and feelings towards Rachel.
Elsewhere, other Final Vows pairings, including Alissa and David, and Bec and Danny, are also expected to be put under the microscope by John, Mel and Alessandra. However, Danny was seen telling Sam he unequivocally would not be attending the commitment ceremony, meaning Bec could be flying solo on the couch.
What Time Is MAFS On Tonight?
The second of the two reunion episodes is set to air tonight, Monday, April 13 at 7:30pm (local time).
Are Brook & Chris Returning For The MAFS Reunion?
If you’re wondering whether the season’s two ‘villains’, Brook and Chris, will make an appearance, it seems unlikely. That said, it’s hardly surprising — it’s not uncommon for some of the experiment’s more controversial participants to skip the reunion altogether, depriving us of a full-panel reckoning courtesy of John Aiken, Mel Schilling and Alessandra Rampolla.
Brook reportedly told Pedestrian.tv she was already booked elsewhere ahead of the highly anticipated reunion. “It was a close friend’s 30th and I didn’t want to miss it,” she said. “I had about four producers call and beg, even saying they hadn’t invited Chris Nield. But honestly, I just couldn’t be bothered with the drama.”
In case you missed it, Brook rekindled her relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Harry, just weeks after leaving MAFS, with the pair confirming their engagement and pregnancy in February 2026.
Our verdict? Clear your schedule — there are two big nights of drama ahead.
When Was The MAFS 2026 Reunion Filmed?
Filmed in November 2025, shortly after the main series wrapped, the reunion captures events in close succession. It is typically held just a few weeks after Final Vows.
