Introducing the Baseus PicoGo AR11: A Compact Power Bank with Built-In Cables
Baseus has unveiled a new portable power bank called the PicoGo AR11, featuring two integrated charging cables. The device is currently available for pre-order in China at 219 yuan ($32) and will be released on May 27th.
Key Features of the Baseus PicoGo AR11
The main attraction of the PicoGo AR11 is its innovative cable management system. Baseus has embedded two separate cables directly into the device. The first is a 72cm retractable cable that uses a constant force shaft mechanism. This design has been tested for 20,000 pulls and bends, ensuring durability.
The second cable is a shorter, 20cm detachable fast-charging cable that also functions as a lanyard-style carrying strap. Users can choose between a USB-C and Lightning cable combination or a dual USB-C setup, offering flexibility for different devices.
Compact Design and Powerful Performance
Despite the built-in hardware, the PicoGo AR11 maintains a compact size. It measures 83 x 56.5 x 38.5mm and weighs approximately 230 grams. Baseus credits this small footprint to a stacked internal architecture that houses two 5,000mAh lithium-ion cells.
In terms of power delivery, the PicoGo AR11 supports a maximum output of 45W via its USB-C port and the built-in USB-C cable. This wattage is sufficient to fast-charge most modern smartphones, tablets, and some lightweight laptops.
Additionally, the power bank includes an extra USB-A port capable of up to 33W output. However, using multiple ports simultaneously reduces the total combined output to 15W. The device also supports 30W input charging, allowing it to recharge from zero to full in about two hours.
Advanced Monitoring and Safety Features
Baseus has incorporated an NFC-based monitoring feature into the PicoGo AR11. By tapping a compatible smartphone against the battery, users can access real-time data about the power bank’s battery health, total charge cycles, and current temperature.
This software feature is complemented by a hardware thermal management system. It uses a dedicated chip to monitor heat levels 50 times per second, along with aerogel and graphene layers to dissipate heat during 45W charging sessions.
The PicoGo AR11 features a digital display that shows the remaining battery percentage. It is available in three color options: Apple White, Titanium Silver, and Sky Blue. The device is 3C certified and meets standard airline carry-on requirements.
Additional Innovations from Baseus
In related news, Baseus has recently launched a new 3-in-1 67W power bank. This device combines a charger, built-in cables, and a portable battery into one convenient unit.
