Aya Cash is set to return to The Boys universe in the upcoming prequel series Vought Rising, though the same cannot be said for Colby Minifie. The show is set in the 1950s, and since Ashley Barrett is a fully modern-day character, there is simply no place for her in that timeline. Cash will reprise her role as a younger Klara Risinger, the woman who eventually becomes Liberty and then Stormfront, alongside Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy. The cast also includes Mason Dye, Elizabeth Posey, Will Hochman, and KiKi Layne, with filming already wrapped and a 2027 release expected.

The Boys itself is in its final stretch, with season 5 being the last. The season premiered on April 8, 2026, and three episodes remain, releasing on May 6, May 13, and the series finale on May 20, 2026. Minifie is currently focused on bringing Ashley Barrett’s arc to a close before the show ends completely.
