Exclusive: Barry Williams to Boost Matt’s Love Life!

Barry Williams Reflects on His Time in the Jungle and Future Plans

Barry Williams, best known for his role as Mike Brady in The Brady Bunch, recently shared his thoughts on his experience in the jungle during I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! He admitted that he could have used more time in the challenging environment.

“I wasn’t ready to go,” says the 71-year-old star. “But I have no regrets about anything I revealed on the show.”

Williams felt at ease during his time on the program, despite the constant presence of cameras. “There were a lot of cameras around, but I never really felt on guard. I felt comfortable sharing my story.”

He also believes that his former The Brady Bunch co-stars won’t mind him talking about their dating lives during the show’s original run from 1969 to 1974. “People like to know if what they saw on TV was real or just acting. We did genuinely like each other, and there were moments when it crossed over. I was becoming a young man, Maureen McCormick was becoming a young lady… and we would go out on dates.”

A Nostalgic Look Back at The Brady Bunch

Speaking of Maureen McCormick, who is now 69, Williams recalls her own time in the jungle back in 2015. He says he wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a similar experience to his fellow Brady co-stars. “I don’t know if Christopher Knight would go in, but Mike Lookinland would love to!”

Williams is already looking forward to returning to Australia soon. “I’m hopeful that someone will bring me back because I’ve got a full dance card of people and things to do. Matt Zukowski wants me to go out and go clubbing with him. I can improve his game a little bit if I bring some of my 1980s moves. He’s struggling, you know, attracting girls [laughs].”

Predictions for This Season and Exciting Projects Ahead

When it comes to this season’s competition, Williams has his eye on one contestant in particular. “Concetta Caristo has a very good chance. She’s sensitive and shy, but she’s a real competitor.”

Now that he’s left the jungle, Williams is focusing on new projects. “I’m working on a documentary about wooden rollercoasters, and the The Brady Bunch house has been newly remodeled and is becoming a national historical landmark. I’ll be doing some tours.”

He’s also excited about the upcoming 60th anniversary of The Brady Bunch, which made him a household name. “There’s something in the works for 2029,” he teases.
