Exclusive: ‘I Love Him More’ – Robbie Williams’ Fan Reveals Meeting Him Was Amazing

A Life-Changing Encounter with Robbie Williams

Earlier this month, the story of a girl who shouted out her phone number for Robbie Williams during the Take That documentary finally reached its conclusion. This week, she had the chance to meet the singer in person, marking a moment she will never forget.

Jemma Williamson, now 36, shared an exclusive account of how, back in 1992 when she was just 14 years old, she took a bus to HMV in Chester. The band was there for a signing session for their latest album, and Jemma was determined to meet them. However, due to the large crowd, she couldn’t get into the shop. Instead, she went around the back, hoping to catch a glimpse of the band. That’s when she came across a film crew shooting footage for the band.

In a moment of boldness, Jemma screamed out her phone number, not expecting anything to come of it. Little did she know that this small act would one day lead to an unforgettable meeting with Robbie Williams.

From Screaming Out Her Number to a Surprise Call

After the footage was included in the Netflix documentary, Robbie Williams attempted to call the number but wasn’t able to reach anyone. This led to a unique situation where Jemma decided to release a video apologising for missing his call. What followed was nothing short of extraordinary.

Thanks to this video, Jemma received numerous calls and even appeared on BBC radio and The Good Morning Show with Kate Garraway. Despite her excitement, she faced a challenge when she couldn’t secure a ticket for Robbie’s concert in Wolverhampton this month. However, she managed to get a pair of tickets at the last minute—unaware of what awaited her.

A Surprising Meeting on Stage

When the concert began, Jemma was completely taken aback when Robbie Williams called her name out during the gig and invited her on stage. The moment was captured in a video that read, “Robbie Williams has gone one better than trying to phone her on Instagram… This is Jemma – the lady from the Take That documentary who he didn’t phone on her landline all those years ago.”

A Memorable Experience

Chatting to the media the day after the gig, Jemma described the experience as “amazing” and said, “I loved every minute of it. Robbie was so lovely, it was unreal to actually get to meet him. I can’t thank him and his wonderful team enough for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime.”

As a teacher, Jemma revealed that she has always been a fan of Robbie Williams. She added, “Now I just love him even more. The concert was really good, and his new album is fantastic. He is such a showman!”
