Home and Away spoilers: Will Alf Betray His Friends?

Alf’s Innocence in Doubt

In recent episodes of Home and Away, Alf (Ray Meagher) has found himself in a difficult position as an unexpected suspect in a hit-and-run incident. Despite his insistence that he didn’t hit Abigail with his car, no other suspects have been identified, leaving the situation in a state of uncertainty.

A dark cloud now looms over Archie’s birthday party, raising questions about whether Alf’s closest friends truly believe in his innocence. The tension is palpable as the community grapples with the possibility that someone they know might be involved.

A Growing Sense of Doubt

This week on Home and Away, Alf is desperately trying to prove his innocence to anyone who will listen. However, Abigail (Hailey Pinto), who was injured in the incident, doesn’t remember much about what happened. What she does recall matches the description of Alf’s car, making him the prime suspect in the eyes of the police.

Roo (Georgie Parker) has also added to the dilemma by expressing concerns about her father’s health, which only adds to the pressure on Alf.

“Everybody thinks it’s Alf and no one is taking him seriously,” Ray, 81, shared with TV WEEK. “And the gossip begins to gain momentum around town so much that he becomes frustrated and kind of loses it at Abigail for not remembering – because this is his life.”

Despite reassurances from others, Alf feels isolated and fears that no one truly believes in him. When Harper (Jessica Redmayne) hands him an invitation for Archie’s first birthday party—a milestone moment she hopes the child’s ‘honorary grandfather’ will attend—Alf declines. He can’t face the people who are doubting him, even if he knows he is innocent.

“Alf has handed over his car keys and refuses to drive now, too,” Ray added.

Will Alf Show Up?

As the party approaches, many are wondering whether Alf will turn up or choose to distance himself from the event. His absence would be a significant blow to those who consider him a part of their lives.

Meanwhile, Tane (Ethan Browne) is recovering at home after being released from the hospital following a prison attack. However, the thought of coming into contact with his ex, Jo (Maddison Brown), leaves him feeling down and emotionally drained.

While Harper focuses on planning the party, Tane finds comfort in the support of his friends, who are using this time to come together after months of fear and uncertainty.

Progress and Positivity

Sonny (Ryan Bown) is excited about celebrating Archie, having made small progress in his rehabilitation since the train crash that left him paralyzed. He is pleased to learn that Tane isn’t upset that Mali (Kyle Shilling) and John (Shane Withington) reopened the gym against his permission to help with his treatment.

With the party in full swing, everyone is enjoying the moment and the company of loved ones. But Harper remains acutely aware of Alf’s absence. Will he turn up—or turn his back on his friends?
