Celebrity Traitors Series Two Unveiled with Star-Studded Line-Up
The highly anticipated second series of Celebrity Traitors has officially revealed its star-studded cast, setting the stage for a new season filled with intrigue, comedy, and high-profile personalities. The announcement came with the release of the first teaser trailer, giving fans a glimpse into what’s in store for this year’s contestants.
Among the most notable names confirmed are Hollywood actress and model Jerry Hall, 69, who has made a surprise appearance in Scotland ahead of filming. Alongside her is Maya Jama from Love Island, as well as legendary actor Richard E. Grant and comedian Romesh Ranganathan. The production team has been seen ramping up security around Jerry’s arrival, with bodyguards accompanying her as she exited a car and disappeared into a black tent at the location.
This year’s cast also includes Michael Sheen, Miranda Hart, Ross Kemp, Bella Ramsey, and James Blunt. Comedians Rob Beckett, Joe Lycett, Joanna McNally, and James Acaster will join forces with Leigh-Anne Pinnock from Little Mix. Additional stars include mathematician Hannah Fry, broadcaster Amol Rajan, Coronation Street actress Julie Hesmondhalgh, prankster King Kenny, Industry star Myha’la, Heartstopper’s Sebastian Croft, and My Mad Fat Diary’s Sharon Rooney.
A Quirky Teaser and Mischievous Mistakes
The teaser trailer, set in an airport arrivals area, features a line of celebrities standing beside iconic roundtable chalkboards that reveal their names. In a humorous twist, several names were misspelled, including “Rob Bucket,” “Miranda Heart,” and “Richardy Grant.” One contestant even held a sign upside down, a nod to the show’s signature roundtable challenges.
The BBC shared the clip on Instagram, describing the lineup as “an eclectic mix of people and personalities ranging from BAFTA and BRIT award winners through to social media stars plus some of the UK’s most cherished actors, comedians, presenters and beyond.” The host, Claudia Winkleman, will guide the celebrities as they navigate the game’s twists and turns, trying to uncover who among them is plotting murder under the cover of darkness.
Behind the Scenes and Excitement
Just weeks before the official announcement, Claudia Winkleman revealed that the cast for series two had been secured. She admitted she was “gobsmacked” when she saw the names, calling the group “extraordinary.”
The BBC’s spinoff show first aired in late 2025, with comedian Alan Carr winning as the Traitor. During a recent appearance on The One Show, Claudia spoke about the success of the first series and the potential for more big names in the upcoming season.
She said: “There certainly are. The people who make it are extraordinary and they had to repeat the people twice to me because I was like, ‘Huh, are you joking? Come again.’ So, we’re incredibly lucky.”
Claudia also expressed her excitement about the return of the show, saying: “Yeah, I hope so. We’re so grateful that people want to come and play the game. And the people who said yes for series one, I still can’t believe it. I was shaking when you see Stephen Fry walking around the castle and Alan Carr, Ruth Codd, all of these people I was obsessed by.”

As filming begins, fans are eagerly anticipating what promises to be another thrilling season of Celebrity Traitors. With its mix of humor, suspense, and celebrity drama, the show continues to captivate audiences and bring together some of the UK’s most beloved stars.
